DISKURSUS FENOMENA LOCAL LOCKDOWN: SEBUAH AKSI PROTES MASYARAKAT DI DAERAH TERHADAP KEBIJAKAN PEMERINTAH

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the issue of local lockdowns carried out by people in various regions in Indonesia, as has been done by other countries. The research method used by the author is qualitative with a literature study approach. The results of the study show that people carry out local lockdowns as a form of anticipation of the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The implementation of local lockdowns carried out by the community as a result of the media reporting on lockdown activities in other countries, such as China. On the one hand, people feel that the Indonesian government is not ready to anticipate the spread of the virus. The public is aware of information that the lockdown can only be enforced with the permission of the Central Government. However, the health factor is more important because the state is considered unable to guarantee people's lives during the outbreak. The government itself does not guarantee about stopping the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
