PENGARUH KEPEMIMPINAN DAN KOMUNIKASI TERHADAP PARTISIPASI MASYARAKAT DALAM PEMBANGUNAN DESADI DESA DONOHARJO KECAMATAN NGAGLIK KABUPATEN SLEMAN

Abstract

Implementation of rural development should be in accordance with the problems encountered, the potention, as well as aspirations and priorities of rural society. Therefore, people need to be actively included in rural development activities, thus the people in the village not only as objects of development but also as the subject of development.

  However, the reality of people's participation in the development still less. That lack of  people participation in development is caused by many factors. While not despise other factors, so leadership and communication factors are important factors to drive the society in development.

This research is explanatory research that try to explain the relationship between variables and test the truth of hypotheses that have been defined. In general, it can be concluded that the village leaders both formal and informal leadership is have enough role to state development messages and describe society communication, therefore able to increase society participation in development.
