KESIAPAN DESA TIMPAG DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN POTENSI MENJADI DESA WISATA DI DESA TIMPAG, KECAMATAN KERAMBITAN, KABUPATEN TABANAN, PROVINSI BALI

Abstract

The Tourism Village was formed to empower the community to be able to play a direct role in efforts to increase readiness and care in addressing the tourism potential or tourist attraction locations in their area. This study aims to determine the extent of Timpag Village's readiness in developing the potential to become a Tourism Village and what obstacles are encountered in pioneering Tourism Village. The indicators in this study are accessibility, having attractive objects, support from the community and village officials, security in the village is guaranteed, adequate accommodation, telecommunications and labor are available, have a conducive climate, and are associated with other tourist objects that are well known to the wider community. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. Sources of data obtained from interviews with informants. Data sources were also obtained from literature studies and documentation relating to the readiness of the Timpag Village community in developing the potential to become a Tourism Village.
