PEMBERDAYAAN USAHA KERAJINAN DI DESA MELIKAN KAPANEWON RONGKOP KABUPATEN GUNUNGKIDUL
Abstract
This research is a type of participatory research that aims to describe: (1) Process for Handicraft Making Training Assistance, (2) Strengthening craft businesses to support the development of the Tourism Village Program and (3) Development of micro, small and medium enterprises in socio-economic development in villages Melkan. This activity is part of the Tourism Village program in Melikan Village. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach, conducted in Melkan Village, Rongkop, Gunungkidul. The subjects and samples of the study were mothers who are members of the Family Welfare Development (PKK), Posyandu and Family Planning (KB) of Melkan Village. The initial participants (pre-survey) were the counselors of the Community Service Program (KKN) at the University of Gunungkidul (UGK) and students participating in the KKN in Melikan Village, then the participants (survey) were women, especially PKK, Posyandu and KB, as well as monev participants especially PKK, Posyandu and KB. Furthermore, researchers developed training and research back to the point of saturation using descriptive qualitative techniques. The research data were obtained from training results and field notes. Data collection through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results showed that flannel handicraft training had a very positive impact and role for residents, especially the PKK group, Posyandu and women participating in family planning. This training is very useful for residents, especially women entrepreneurs and is closely related to the Tourism Village program in Melikan Rongkop Village, Gunungkidul. Flannel fabric makes a very positive contribution to skills, experience and has an effect on increasing income (economic sector). With this training it really supports the village tourism program in Melikan Village.
