STRATEGI “INBOUND OPEN INNOVATION†DALAM PENGEMBANGAN STRATEGIS SMART CITY
Abstract
Abstract In this paper, we discussed how the strategy of "inbound open innovation" used as an alternative view to the city government in the development of smart city (smart cities) in its territory. This condition is comparable to the reality that many cities in the world are now racing to apply the concept of "Smart city". Not only developed countries, but also the cities in developing countries. Until now, the strategic development of smart city has not been known and studied for largely unexplored and is interdisciplinary. The strategy of "Inbound open innovation" refers more to the practice of how an organization partnered with external parties, access to technical competence and knowledge in order to improve and complement internal innovation performance of the municipality. The consequence of this view is the potential deployment of collaborative technologies to all segments of society. At least from the various reviews of the literature, there are four strategies identified "inbound open innovation" in the development of smart city. Among these include: market-based innovation strategy, crowd-based innovation strategy, collaborative innovation strategy and network-based innovation strategy.
