PENGEMBANGAN PARIWISATA KABUPATEN TAPANULI UTARA SEBAGAI “KOTA WISATA†DALAM UPAYA PENINGKATAN PEREKONOMIAN MASYARAKAT DAN PENDAPATAN ASLI DAERAH

Abstract

North Tapanuli district is an area that has the potential to be developed as the
City Tour with a variety of natural beauty and rich ethnic culture that can serve
as a valuable asset. But the attraction is loaded with the beauty and
uniqueness of North Tapanuli can not yet well developed, and yet can be
excellent in the tourism sector, especially in the province of North Sumatra.
In this study the authors used three techniques or methods of data collection,
ie, observation method, interview method, and Documentation. While
analyzing the data, the authors used a qualitative descriptive analysis
technique.
Based upon the analysis and discussion of research, it can be concluded that
tourism pengembangangan North Tapanuli district can not provide significant
additional revenue for the district Taput. Besides tourism development case
can not be a source of income for the community to improve life around. This is
due to many problems that hinder the development of tourism sector in North
Tapanuli. Factors inhibiting ie, has not established cooperation between
government and society, the lack of coordination between the existing Offices
in North Tapanuli and very minimal allocation of funds for the management of
The tourism sector.
