Integrasi Moral dan Etika Pembangunan : Suatu Pendekatan Alternatif dalam Teori Pembangunan (Integrative Morals and Ethics Development: The Alternative Approach in Development Theory)
Abstract
The main issue in development is how the creation of community improvement for the better. Various theories of development have been born and has also been implemented. In some countries have successfully used various theories such development, but many states also were not successful in the development process. Of all development activities in all countries, both successful and unsuccessful, still leaves many issues, such as poverty, inequality, lack of equity, moral damages and other problems such as damage to the environment or ecosystem.
Development theories which have appeared already getting criticism, such as the lack of ethics in development, this opinion has been born of the originator of the ethics of development such as Gandhi and popularized Goulet et al. Theory development with the ethical approach has improved a lot, but still can not provide optimal impact. Ethics with morals by some to be the same thing, but in fact if understood in detail, these two terms are different. Ethics is more to be a science, which is part of the moral teachings of life. Meanwhile, closer to the moral teachings of the attitude a good life based view of life or religion. So that ethics and morals are something different. In the position, morale is higher than ethics.
The journal is trying to expand the study of theory in the form of integrated development between the moral and ethical development. Both of these terms should be parallel or concurrent with the development of economic, political, social, cultural and environmental, to anticipate or minimize the negative impact of the construction, such as unsustainable development. Integration between the moral and ethical development will generate real development, which means to increase human dignity as a creature HIS best.
