IMPLEMENTASI KEBIJAKAN UU NO. 41 TAHUN 2009 TENTANG PERLINDUNGAN LAHAN PERTANIAN PANGAN BERKELANJUTAN DI KECAMATAN DEPOK KABUPATEN SLEMAN

Abstract

Law No. 41 of 2009 On the Protection of Agricultural Land Sustainable Food is government policy to protect agricultural land from land use changes and growing. Agricultural land use change is a threat to the achievement of food security and sovereignty. Its strategic location in DIY create economic development in this area is growing rapidly. The number of malls, hotels and residential areas in this area is evidence that the economic progress of the people in Sleman develop. Rapid economic development in Sleman seen in districts adjacent to the city of Yogyakarta, the District Mlati, Ngaglik, and Depok. With the growth of the construction, agricultural land in the area of Sleman district more and more reduced. According to Law No. 41 In 2009 with the increasing population growth and economic and industrial development led to degradation, conversion, and fragmentation of agricultural land threatens the carrying capacity of the national territory in maintaining independence, security, and food sovereignty. The amount of agricultural land converted to the dense population and the hotel which makes the writer takes research on Implementation of Law No. 41 of 2009 on the Protection of Agricultural Land Sustainable Food in Depok, Sleman District. Hopefully with this study can determine the level of implementation of the Protection of Agricultural Land Sustainable Food along the inhibiting factors and appropriate measures can be taken to resolve these problems.
