INISIATIF KOMUNITAS LOKAL MEMBANGUN KAMPUNG CYBER DI KOTA YOGYAKARTA

Abstract

This article discusses the local initiative of the people in the hometown of the effort to build a cyber village. This discussion is important given the public access to important digital change as an effort to increase the capacity of the community. On the other hand the government is still difficulty in providing digital service was good. Precisely local community initiatives show success. This study use qualitative descriptive approach. Local initiatives discussed in two dimensions, external network and commitment that community. Residents kampoeng Cyber successfully develop independent organization with the involvement of external network that is controlled by the citizens kampoeng Cyber itself. Communities have formed self- help development of sustainable local initiatives and have an extensive network.
