Abstract

               Terban an area that carry Hours Learning Communities Program. In other areas at this time, it is difficult found a group of people who are still consistently applying this Community Learning Hours. This makes many people concerned, especially for those who are much concerned with the condition of the education of the nation. So the author wants to examine the effectiveness of the Learned Society in Terban clock. The purpose of this study was to determine how effective the Clock Learning Communities program on student achievement and determine Terban enabling and inhibiting factors Hours Learning Communities Program on student achievement in Terban. This research method is descriptive qualitative method. In this study using several techniques to collect data such as: interviews, observation, and documentation. This study uses data source, primary data in the form of interviews and observations and secondary data in the form of literature and other written data sources. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the program in the community study hours Terban not been fully effective it was in the measure of the pillar is not yet even citizens applying learning hours community for its citizens and also children in Terban not been studied regularly. But Terban already categorized either by the Department that is seen on the implementation of competition Community Learning Program Hours by Education Office of Yogyakarta in 2016.
