PENGELOLAAN LALU LINTAS DI KAWASAN MALIOBORO

Abstract

The city of Yogyakarta is one of the cities in Indonesia which is visited by many immigrants from outside the region with various interests of each. This also affects the increasing use of transportation in large numbers, so that traffic jams often occur in the Malioboro area which is the business center and one of the tourist destinations in the city of Yogyakarta. This study aims to determine traffic management in the Malioboro area of Yogyakarta City, and to determine the factors that hinder traffic management in the Malioboro area. This research was carried out with a qualitative approach. The references used which are also indicators in this research are Article 2 concerning the principles of traffic management and Article 4 concerning the scope of traffic administration in Regional Regulation No. 1 of 2019 concerning the implementation of traffic and road transportation in the City of Yogyakarta. Data collection was done by interview, observation, and documentation.
