EFEKTIVITAS PENGEMBANGAN PROGRAM TOKO MILIK RAKYAT (TOMIRA) SEBAGAI UPAYA PEMBERDAYAAN EKONOMI MASYARAKAT DI KABUPATEN KULON PROGO

Abstract

This research is motivated by the various potentials of Kulon Progo Regency which are quite potential to be developed as a source of the people's economy. The ToMiRa program was created as an effort to improve the community-based economy. This study aims to: 1) Determine the effectiveness of the development of the ToMiRa program as an effort to empower the community's economy; 2) Knowing the factors supporting and inhibiting the effectiveness of the ToMiRa program as an effort to empower the community's economy. This type of research is descriptive research using a qualitative research approach. Sources of data obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study are through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The indicator used in this research is the effectiveness indicators proposed by Steers. The indicators consist of 5 (five), namely productivity, flexibility, job satisfaction, and the ability to make profit seeking resources.
