UPAYA PENATAAN PEDAGANG KAKI LIMA SESUAI DENGAN PERATURAN WALIKOTA NOMOR 62 TAHUN 2009

Abstract

Structuring a city affects the comfort level of the city, but today the problem in structuring the city became a major problem in that it is still unresolved. As one of the causes of problems in the spatial arrangement is the lack of consistency in implementing the rules, resulting in the existing rules is becoming weaker. The government has passed a law on the restructuring, but until now the implementation is still less than the maximum. Still there were many violations, one of which is the arrangement of street vendors in the abuse pemanfataan sidewalk pedestrians take precedence.

To answer these problems, researchers used a method of field research (Field Research) held in the city of Yogyakarta. The nature of this research is qualitative descriptive which aims to describe and explain the arrangement of the five City Street traders along Jalan Urip Sumoharjo Yogyakarta. In the data pengumpula researchers conducted interviews with the parties concerned.

Based on the results of research in the field, it can be argued that the arrangement of street vendors in the city of Yogyakarta, especially along Jalan Urip Sumoharjo not go according to Mayor Regulation No. 62 of 2009. The government has made some efforts for the settlement of street vendors in the area Urip Sumoharjo. However, the efforts made by the Government is still less than optimal, because it has not reached the set target. For that we need to optimize the arrangement of street vendors by the Government, especially the District is working with several related agencies.
