STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN KELOMPOK PENGRAJIN BATIK DEWI KUNTHI DESA TRIHARJO KECAMATAN SLEMAN KABUPATEN SLEMAN

Abstract


 

This study aims to Know the business development strategies that must be carried out by the Batik Craftsman group Dewi Kunthi. This research is a qualitative research using two types of data sources, namely primary data and secondary data. The data is obtained using interview, observation and documentation methods. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Working capital owned by the batik craftsman group Dewi Kunthi is still limited; 2) Dewi Kunthi batik craftsmen group has not been able to do online marketing; 3) Limited working capital owned by the batik craftsman group Dewi Kunthi has not been able to provide welfare to members; 4) Equipment owned by the Dewi Kunthi batik craftsman group is still limited and has not been able to keep up with technological developments so that it is only able to produce products that are monotonous and of poor quality; 5) The bookkeeping process of the Dewi Kunthi batik craftsman group is still done improbably and has not used a computerized method because the equipment is still limited and members are still stuttering technology. Based on the results of these studies, the strategies that must be carried out by the Dewi Kunthi batik craftsman group are: 1) Borrowing capital to buy good equipment to be able to produce maximum products; 2) Replacing equipment that is modern and in accordance with technological developments, so as to be able to create products of maximum quality, besides being able to provide welfare to members and attract the attention of the younger generation to join; 3) Creating motifs that are in accordance with current developments so as to attract the attention of consumers; 4) Providing discounts by increasing the price first and deducting 20% as a discount, so as not to cause a loss; 5) Purchase equipment for good waste treatment and for computerized bookkeeping processes for easy input;
